"I will be immediately implementing this in our stroboscopy clinic." – L.L., prior course participant
This course provides detailed instruction for clinical use of laryngeal endoscopic imaging – videoendoscopy and videostroboscopy. Content includes definitions, procedures, clinical interpretation, rating practice, and feedback using the VALI-R (Voice-Vibratory Assessment with Laryngeal Imaging-Revised rating form). The VALI-R form implements recommendations from ASHA’s Ad Hoc Committee on Developing Instrumental Voice Assessment Protocols.
Course is offered for 0.1 ASHA CEUs – 1 Contact Hours.
This course includes ongoing access to this interactive PDF form. The VALI-R features high quality graphics, pull-down menus, and scrollable text boxes. The PDF format facilitates sharing records, and it may be used with select EMR systems that allow for upload of PDF documents.
"This course is an excellent tutorial, perhaps one of the best I've watched on the subject matter. The information is accurate, also interesting, and not limited to just the mechanics of interpreting endoscopy or stroboscopy."
