Articulation Theatre Books
Target 6 sounds simultaneously during group therapy! This set of 6 books contains matching plays and pagination. The variation is that each book contains unique script lines that target one sound only: /R, S, L, Sh, Ch, Th/. Claudia Doan, MS, CCC-SLP, has worked in the field of Speech-Language Pathology since 2008 after receiving Bachelor of Arts and Master of Science Degrees in Communication Disorders from Southern Connecticut State University. She is the author of the blog Creative Speech Lab and has several years of experience working for school systems and in pediatric clinic settings. Claudia is the recipient of the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association's Mentoring Pair Award for original research in the field of Speech-Language Pathology and is a Sertoma International Scholar in Communication Disorders. Nancy L. Geruntino, MA, SLP, has been a practicing speech-language pathologist for over 30 years providing services in private practice, clinics, and public school settings. For the past 12 years, Nancy has been developing and perfecting a new intervention technique for ‘R’ remediation. Years of observing children failing when traditional therapies were used to remediate ‘R’ provided the motivation for Nancy to develop an ‘R’ remediation program that addresses all ‘R’ sounds in all contexts.
Through the creation of the Up, Down, & Slide Alphabet, this program can help speech-language pathologists teach students and clients how to categorize ‘R’ sounds into one of these categories to improve tongue motor planning and the pronunciation of ‘R’ to overcome barriers related to pronunciation, spelling, and dialect. Nancy is the recipient of many school district awards including one for creating a speech improvement program for kindergarten students. She is also the author of 14 children's books. Nancy hopes that wide implementation of her program during the early school years will eliminate 'R' problems in middle school and high school.

Order Policies
SHIPPING YOUR ORDER:
US Domestic:
- Orders are shipped via UPS or USPS. Rates for both services are based on current published rates. Please use our shipping estimator (available in the shopping cart) to determine your shipping costs, based on your preferences.
Canada & Mexico:
- Orders are shipped via USPS or UPS. Duties and taxes may NOT be included in the shipping cost. Some countries impose additional duties and taxes when packages cross their borders. Please check your local laws, as any additional charges (duties/taxes), may be due upon delivery of your package. NSS is not responsible for any additional charges.
International:
- Orders are shipped via UPS. Duties and taxes may NOT be included in the shipping cost. Some countries impose additional duties and taxes when packages cross their borders. Tracking information will be emailed to you once the order has been shipped.
BACKORDERED ITEMS:
If an item is not in stock when your order is received, you will be notified via email with the estimated ship date for your order. Generally, backorders are shipped within 1-2 weeks. If you order with a Purchase Order, your invoice will not be sent until the order is completely filled.
CANCELING AN ORDER:
If you have not received your order, you may cancel it by calling 888-337-3866, faxing 888-696-9655, or e-mailing info@northernspeech.com. In the event that your order has already been shipped, you are responsible for returning the items in accordance with our RETURN policy (a copy is provided with your order).
ALTERNATIVES TO USING YOUR CREDIT CARD THROUGH OUR WEBSITE:
We offer the option of phoning, faxing or mailing in your information after you place your order for products. Simply use the Downloadable Order Form, which you can print and fax or mail to our office.
RETURN POLICY:
Order must be returned within 30 days after receiving the order.
If you received a wrong/defective/damaged/duplicate order, please email info@northernspeech.com. Include your Order Number, Product Name, and the problem with your order. Do not return the product until you have received an authorization from our Office.
If a product is returned in unused and in good condition, a full refund will be processed, minus shipping and handling charges.
PAYMENT METHODS:
We accept checks (US dollars only), money orders, credit cards (Visa, MasterCard, American Express, Discover), EFT (electronic funds transfer) and purchase orders.
