Each book has unique script lines to focus on one language target: Synonyms, Antonyms, Context Clues, Idioms, Attributes, or Inferencing.
This set of 6 books allows students working on different language skills to participate together in the same fun and effective group therapy activity. All books contain matching plays and pagination. The variation is that each book contains unique script lines that focus on a specific language target: Synonyms, Antonyms, Context Clues, Idioms, Attributes, or Inferencing. As students take turns reading aloud the script lines from their book, focusing on their language skill, they are all performing together in the same humorous play. No preparation needed! Effective during individual therapy sessions as well! Ages 8-15, or a 4th grade reading level. Made in the USA.

How It Works:
Each book features unique script lines to target one language skill.
Let's say that Sally is working on synonyms, Ian on idioms and Charlie on context clues. Each student selects the book focusing on their specific language target.
They each open their book to the same page.
That page will feature the same play theme across all 6 books in the set. However, the script lines in each book will be unique focusing on their language target.
As students take turns reading aloud their lines, focusing on their language skill, they are performing together in the same humorous play.

Do you have both articulation students and language students in your group?
No problem! Language Theatre was written to be completely compatible with Articulation Theatre! Both book sets contain the same 10 plays located on the same pages. Since the play themes match up across all books, a student working on articulation could grab the /r/ book, open to the same page as the language students, and join in on the session seamlessly by reading aloud his or her script lines.

Author
Claudia Doan, MS, CCC-SLP, has worked in the field of Speech-Language Pathology since 2008 after receiving Bachelor of Arts and Master of Science Degrees in Communication Disorders from Southern Connecticut State University. She is the author of the blog Creative Speech Lab and has several years of experience working for school systems and in pediatric clinic settings. Claudia is the recipient of the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association's Mentoring Pair Award for original research in the field of Speech-Language Pathology and is a Sertoma International Scholar in Communication Disorders. She is the author of Articulation Theatre Books and Language Theatre Books published by Northern Speech Services.

- Orders are shipped via USPS or UPS. Duties and taxes may NOT be included in the shipping cost. Some countries impose additional duties and taxes when packages cross their borders. BACKORDERED ITEMS:

CANCELING AN ORDER:
If you have not received your order, you may cancel it by calling 888-337-3866, faxing 888-696-9655, or e-mailing info@northernspeech.com. In the event that your order has already been shipped, you are responsible for returning the items in accordance with our RETURN policy (a copy is provided with your order).

RETURN POLICY:
Order must be returned within 30 days after receiving the order.
If you received a wrong/defective/damaged/duplicate order, please email info@northernspeech.com. Include your Order Number, Product Name, and the problem with your order. Do not return the product until you have received an authorization from our Office.
If a product is returned in unused and in good condition, a full refund will be processed, minus shipping and handling charges.
